Terms and conditions of the Avant Podologia pre-opening prize draw

English translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Catalan version prevails.

1. Organiser

The prize draw is organised by Clínicas LSCU, S.L. (Tax ID B26785725), with registered office at calle Barcelona, 27, piso 6-1, 17002 Girona, Spain, trading as Avant Podologia (“the Organiser”). The services are provided at the clinic located at Passeig de Maragall, 372, 08031 Barcelona. Contact: hola@avantpodologia.com.

2. Purpose and prizes

Three (3) prizes will be drawn. Each prize consists of:

  • A biomechanical assessment at Avant Podologia.
  • Custom insoles, only if the podiatrist considers them clinically indicated after the assessment, including minor adjustments after delivery.

Each prize is valued at up to EUR 250 (VAT included), according to the Organiser’s current price list. The Organiser covers the services included in the prize in full: the winner will not have to pay any amount.

3. Nature of the prize

  • The prize consists exclusively of the Organiser’s services. It cannot be exchanged for cash or for other services or products.
  • The winner may transfer the prize to another person (the beneficiary) by giving the Organiser their name before the first appointment. Once given, the beneficiary cannot be changed.
  • The beneficiary may be a minor. In that case, they must attend with a parent or legal guardian, who will sign the informed consent.
  • Insoles will only be made if the podiatrist, based on clinical and professional judgement, considers them appropriate. If not, the prize will consist only of the biomechanical assessment, with no right to compensation for the value of the insoles.
  • The clinical assessment will be carried out with the usual informed consent and the same safeguards as for any other patient.

4. Condition for starting the services

The services are subject to the start of the clinic’s healthcare activity, once the Organiser has filed the application for a healthcare operating authorisation with the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia and the clinic is able to see patients. No services will be provided before then. The Organiser will inform the winners of the date from which they can use the prize.

If healthcare activity has not started by 31 December 2027, the Organiser may cancel any outstanding prizes, with no right to compensation for the winners.

5. Duration and entry

  • Entry period: from 1 November 2026 to 15 December 2026 at 23:59 (Spanish mainland time).
  • Entry is free and no purchase is required.
  • To enter, visit the prize draw page (avantpodologia.com/promo), directly or by scanning the QR code; fill in the form with your full name, phone number and email address; and accept these terms and the privacy policy. The fields “reason for your interest” and “how did you hear about us” are optional.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed. Any entry with the same email address or the same phone number as a previous one is considered a duplicate. Duplicate entries or entries with false data will be excluded.
  • Each valid entry receives an entry number, sent to the participant by email.

6. Eligibility

Entry is open to people aged 18 or over, with valid contact details, who are able to attend (themselves or the beneficiary) the clinic in Barcelona.

The Organiser’s partners, staff and their immediate family members (parents, children, spouse or partner) are excluded.

7. Draw and selection

  • The draw will take place on 16 December 2026, at random among all valid entries, using the online tool Sorteados (https://app-sorteos.com/es/apps/sorteados).
  • Only entry numbers will be entered into the tool, without any personal data.
  • 3 winners and 3 reserves, in order, will be selected.
  • The Organiser will keep the draw certificate generated by the tool as proof of the result.

8. Notification of results and claiming the prize

  • The result will not be published with personal data. Winners will be notified privately, by phone, WhatsApp or email, within 5 working days of the draw. The Organiser may announce on Instagram ([account pending]) that the draw has winners, without identifying them.
  • The Organiser will make up to three contact attempts, on three different working days, combining phone call, WhatsApp and email.
  • Winners must confirm acceptance within 7 calendar days of the first contact attempt. Otherwise, the prize will pass to the next reserve.
  • The prize may be used up to 3 months after the clinic starts its healthcare activity, subject to appointment availability. After that period, the prize expires with no right to compensation.

9. Healthcare service conditions

The biomechanical assessment is a healthcare procedure and is provided with professional judgement and informed consent. The Organiser may postpone or refuse the service in the event of a clinical contraindication or if the person does not attend the appointment.

10. Tax

The prize is considered a capital gain for the winner. In principle, a prize in kind worth less than EUR 300 is not subject to Spanish income tax (IRPF) withholding.

11. Data protection

  • Controller: Clínicas LSCU, S.L. (Tax ID B26785725), calle Barcelona, 27, piso 6-1, 17002 Girona, Spain. Data protection contact: rgpd@avantpodologia.com.
  • Purposes: (a) to manage the draw, contact participants, communicate the result and deliver the prize; (b) only if the participant has expressly consented, to send them marketing communications from Avant Podologia, including offers and discounts, also after the draw and whether or not they have won.
  • Legal basis: performance of the participation in the draw (a) and consent (b). If the participant enters health data in the “reason for your interest” field, the legal basis is their explicit consent, collected in the form.
  • Marketing channels: email, WhatsApp and phone call.
  • Retention: data of participants who do not win will be deleted 3 months after the draw, except for those who have consented to marketing communications, whose data will be kept until they withdraw consent. Winners’ data will be kept as long as needed to deliver the prize and meet legal obligations. Clinical data generated when providing the service become part of the medical record and are kept as required by healthcare regulations.
  • Processors: technology providers for hosting, database, automation, email and messaging (WhatsApp). Hosting and the database are located in the European Union. Some email and messaging providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer is made with appropriate safeguards (an adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses). The Sorteados tool does not receive personal data.
  • Disclosures: data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.
  • Rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time, by writing to rgpd@avantpodologia.com. Complaints may be lodged with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
  • Consent to marketing communications is optional and entry does not depend on it.

12. Changes, suspension and liability

The Organiser reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel the draw for justified reasons, including a delay in starting healthcare activity, giving notice through the same channels. The Organiser is not responsible for errors in the data provided by participants or for technical failures beyond its control.

13. Acceptance, language, governing law and jurisdiction

Entering the draw implies full acceptance of these terms, available in Catalan, Spanish and English at avantpodologia.com/promo/bases. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Catalan version prevails. Spanish law applies, without prejudice to the jurisdiction that corresponds to consumers under applicable regulations.
